Portraits
Since 1995 I have been a successful Portrait Artist, on a part-time basis. Here are just a few of the many animal portrait commissions I have done. Only 'Rocky', 'Rosie', Honey, and 'Beth' are digital photographs taken from the originals. The rest are photos of printed photos, hence the quality of the photo & the odd 'flash' mark!! I have many more, but either the photos didn't come out, or I did not take any photos of the originals (regret that now, obviously!).
I have always used pastels, as I can create a soft finish to imitate fur. They are so life-like you feel that you can actually stroke the animal! This has helped alot of my clients deal with the sad departure of their pet, as they feel they still have them with them.
I have also done pencil drawings, as specific requests.
I have never had an unhappy customer!!!
The style of my portraits is very detailed & they require alot of time & emotion to complete. The prices of my portraits reflect the costs I would incur for childcare, in order to make it worth my while.
